Website
We always encourage our clients to create their own websites to promote their products and services. The perfect site combines strategic SEO and engaging content with your brand and your customers’ UX. It's your own place, with a customer list you own. We like to say social platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok are just landlords who rent you the space. If they were gone tomorrow, how would you reach your audience? From a simple landing page to a full website, your online home base will help you build and maintain your brand’s reputation.
Uplands
Puyallup, WA
The Uplands website demonstrates that residents here will live their lives the way they want, with the perfect balance of indoors and out, activity and relaxation, friends and family. ‘This meets that’ headlines emphasize both physical and emotional connections that occur here naturally, while the Uplands logo icon is utilized to visually represent that peak of convergence—a beacon for community. We’re not just telling home shoppers what they can do here, we’re connecting more deeply with our buyers by acknowledging that they’re in control of how they live their lives, and Uplands can be the perfect stage for their stories.
Brand language plays with elevation in senses of both altitude and lifestyle, and takes cues from the word “up,” as Uplands is a place for optimism and possibilities. The Uplands website shows off the literal view of the mountain, as well as living an aspirational life. The look is structured in design and elegant (and limited) in color, with image contrast lowered to add a subtle softness. Photography keeps it real, focusing on the ‘in between’ moments of everyday life. We connect with our buyers who want to disconnect from their phones, enjoy what they’ve achieved, and revel in the nature within their neighborhood.

Humble Heart Thrift Stores
San Diego, CA
Humble Heart started off with a single-page website, primarily consisting of user reviews, and offering little information to visitors. After COVID, they were in need of a new site to reenergize and reposition their brand in the San Diego marketplace. The new website demonstrates their many contributions to the local community, and tells the entire heartwarming story of Humble Heart—from its Ocean Beach beginnings to the music venue and thrifting community it has become. The brand embraces a bold, revamped color palette, and new content is expanded upon to allow for rotating news, brand positioning, a collection of second-hand curated goods, and more.
Rancho Sienna
Georgetown, TX
2019 MAX Awards Winner
Best Website
The Rancho Sienna website was designed to fit within an enterprise developer template, while still allowing the unique brand and voice of the community to shine through. Keeping SEO top of mind, pages were optimized for a better mobile experience, delivering the same level of content as the traditional desktop display. Large graphics and a new home search allowed for maximized content on the website. Content was created for both broad-based audiences and hyper-targeted local audiences who were ready to buy on pages as well as on the blog. The new design improved ease of usability and lead capture through strategically placed and thoughtfully designed sign-up opportunities. Brand new additional pages—such as the dog park page—offered new places to direct traffic in search of more information.
Rancho Sienna's marketing team was reliant upon the website as their online sales center, and the investment in the website also meant a 9% decrease in media spending. Even with the 9% decrease in media, we saw:
-
5% increase in website sessions
-
500% increase in page views on the landing page dedicated to homes
-
18% increase in page views year over year
-
4% increase in average session duration (despite majority mobile traffic, which tends to lower average session duration)
-
5% decrease in bounce rate
-
34% increase in email sign-ups year over year
